The A-Zoom 38 Spec Blue Aluminium Snap Caps (12-Pack) are precision-machined, inert dummy rounds engineered for safe dry firing, function testing, and weapon manipulation drills. Manufactured by A-Zoom from solid CNC-machined aluminium with a hard-anodised blue finish, these training rounds are dimensionally identical to standard SAAMI-spec .38 Special cartridges and chamber reliably in both .38 Special and .357 Magnum firearms. Each snap cap features a synthetic "Dead Cap" primer insert designed to absorb firing pin impacts, preventing internal wear and firing pin breakage during repetitive trigger practice.

Key Features

• Dry Fire Protection: Incorporates a resilient synthetic "Dead Cap" primer insert engineered to withstand over 3,000 dry fire strikes per unit while protecting the firearm's firing pin.
• High-Visibility Safety Anodising: The bright blue hard-anodised aluminium construction ensures immediate visual distinction from live ammunition to maintain classroom and range safety.
• Precision SAAMI Dimensions: CNC-machined to exact .38 Special cartridge profiles for realistic cylinder loading, speedloader training, and extraction drills.
• Bulk Training Pack: Supplied as a 12-pack quantity, providing enough dummy rounds to fill multiple revolver cylinders or speedloaders simultaneously.
