The A-Zoom 357 Mag Orange Snap Caps 12-Pack (Model 16419) is a precision-machined training tool engineered for .357 Remington Magnum firearms, including revolvers, lever-action rifles, and single-shot platforms. Precision CNC-machined from solid aluminium to exact SAAMI external cartridge dimensions, each inert dummy round features a high-visibility, hard-anodised orange finish for instant visual differentiation from live ammunition. Fitted with A-Zoom's synthetic "Dead Cap" primer insert, these snap caps absorb the impact of the firing pin to prevent spring fatigue, pin breakage, and breech face damage during high-volume dry-fire practice, decocking, and mechanical cycling drills.

Key Features

• Synthetic Dead Cap Primer: Protects internal firearm components by absorbing direct firing pin strikes without degrading the breech face or firing pin assembly.
• High-Visibility Anodised Finish: Bright orange solid aluminium body provides immediate visual and tactile confirmation that the firearm is loaded with inert training rounds.
• Extended Service Life: Each snap cap is engineered to withstand over 3,000 dry fires before primer pocket wear occurs, outlasting clear plastic alternatives by more than 30 to 1.
• Realistic Handling and Cycling: Conforms to SAAMI .357 Magnum specifications to cycle smoothly through speedloaders, tubular magazines, and revolver cylinders for malfunction clearing and reload drills.
• Safe Storage Decocking: Allows shooters to drop the hammer or release striker spring tension safely prior to long-term firearm storage.

Who is the A-Zoom 357 Mag Orange Snap Caps 12-Pack for?

• Competitive revolver and lever-action shooters — requires a bulk 12-pack of inert rounds to fully load tubular magazines and stage multi-cylinder speedloader drills, relying on the CNC-machined aluminium dimensions to ensure consistent feeding and extraction during timed practice.
• Civilian target shooters practicing dry-fire trigger control — benefits from a .357 Magnum snap cap rated for over 3,000 dry fires per unit, allowing extensive indoor trigger pull and sight alignment practice without risking firing pin breakage.
• Hunters maintaining off-season firearm handling skills — uses these high-visibility orange .357 Magnum dummy rounds to safely rehearse cold-weather loading, unloading, and chamber-clearing procedures at home.

Less suitable for: Firearms with dedicated .38 Special chambers, as the longer .357 Magnum cartridge case length prevents proper chamber seating; shooters practicing with .38 Special firearms require dedicated .38 Special snap caps instead.
