The LaRue LT271 PSR Atlas Bipod Combo pairs the B&T Industries Atlas PSR BT46-NC bipod with LaRue Tactical's LT271 QD mount. Designed for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, this mechanical shooting support offers rapid attachment and removal with return-to-zero repeatability. Constructed from CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminium with a Type III hardcoat anodised black finish and heat-treated steel locking components, the system withstands recoil up to .338 Lapua Magnum and .50 BMG platforms.
Key Features
- LaRue Speed Lever QD System: Enables quick lever-locking attachment to and release from standard Picatinny rails without tools.
- Positional Leg Angles: Five locking positions (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, and 180°) paired with non-rotating legs accommodate uneven terrain and varied shooting barriers.
- Pan and Cant Mechanics: Built-in 30 degrees of total pan and 30 degrees of total cant, regulated by a knurled tension knob.
- Standard 17S Interface: Uses standard two-hole 1.100-inch spacing with 10-32 threaded fasteners to secure the bipod body to the mount.
- All-Weather Operation: Fully mechanical design operational in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C without batteries or external power.

Who is the LaRue LT271 Atlas PSR Bipod Combo for?
- Precision rifle competition shooters (PRS/NRL) — requires rapid positional adaptation on barricades using 5 locking leg angles and a height range adjustable from 4.75 to 9.0 inches, combined with 30 degrees of total cant to level the rifle on uneven surfaces.
- Backcountry hunters — benefits from a quick-detach precision rifle bipod that removes via a single lever to pack away the 12.5 to 13.0 oz system for rifle transport.
- Tactical marksmen — provides Picatinny rail engagement with an 8 to 11-inch footprint width and 30 degrees of total pan to track targets across extended engagement distances up to 1,500+ metres.
Less suitable for: Dedicated ultra-heavy calibre platforms (such as .50 BMG for sustained rapid fire or ELR setups past 1,000 metres), where wider-stance heavy-duty benchrest bipods are recommended; or ultralight mountain hunts where total gear weight is critical and sub-8 oz direct-attach carbon fibre bipods are preferred over this 13 oz combo.
