The Nitecore HA13 (2026 Edition) is a lightweight dual-beam outdoor AAA headlamp engineered for camp tasks, navigation, and game tracking. It pairs a 4-core UHE primary white emitter producing up to 350 lumens with auxiliary Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) multi-spectrum LEDs. Measuring 59.9 mm × 46.0 mm × 33.0 mm and weighing 94 g ready to operate with batteries, headband, and bracket, the unit runs on 3 × AAA alkaline or NiMH cells and supports Nitecore's optional HLB1500 or HLB1300 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery packs. The headlamp is housed in impact-resistant polycarbonate and includes an ambient lantern diffuser sack.

Key Features

• Multi-Spectrum Emitters: Delivers primary white light ranging from an 80 m beam down to a 6-lumen ultralow mode, accompanied by auxiliary red light for night vision, green for high-contrast wildlife observation, and blue for tracking and night fishing.
• Hybrid Dual-Power Architecture: Powered by 3 × AAA alkaline cells (4.5V direct DC) or an optional 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery pack with no mains voltage requirements.
• Intuitive Dual-Button Interface: Features distinct tactile buttons for cycling light spectra and brightness levels, complemented by an integrated lockout mode to prevent accidental activation.
• Durable Outdoor Housing: Cast from impact-resistant polycarbonate with a breathable headband, providing IP66 ingress protection against torrential rain and 1-metre drop resistance.
• Multi-Functional Storage: Includes a lightweight storage sack that doubles as a light-diffusing lantern for camp area illumination.

Who is the Nitecore HA13 UHE RGB Headlamp for?

• Hunters: Utilises dedicated auxiliary green and blue LEDs alongside a 350-lumen, 80 m primary white beam to navigate brush and track blood trails at night without relying on heavy handheld gear.
• Campers and backpackers: Demands minimal pack burden via a 94 g total operating weight and universally available AAA power, providing IP66 weatherproofing and runtimes up to 140 hours on the 6-lumen ultralow setting.
• Anglers: Relies on the specialised blue auxiliary mode to work rigs and read shorelines without blinding night-adapted vision, backed by an IP66 water resistance rating that handles driving rain.

Less suitable for: Identifying targets beyond its 80 m maximum beam distance, which mandates high-output 18650- or 21700-powered hunting throwers; caving or wading requiring submersion beyond IP66 limits, which necessitates IP68-rated submersible dive or utility lights; and multi-day unsupported expeditions demanding sustained 300+ lumen outputs without cell swapping, which require high-capacity external battery packs or high-drain lithium headlamps.
