The Norma Unprimed Rifle Brass – 6mm Norma BR (MPN 10260151) is a 100-pack of virgin, unprimed metallic cartridge cases engineered for precision handloading. Manufactured with drawn cartridge brass featuring differential hardness, each case includes a fully annealed neck and shoulder for consistent bullet release, graded body hardness to reduce longitudinal stretching, and a hardened head and web surrounding a Small Rifle Primer pocket. Standardised under C.I.P. specifications to a maximum average pressure of 4,050 bar (~58,740 psi), this brass provides a uniform internal volume for competitive target and field applications.

Key Features

• Factory-Annealed Necks: Uniform neck and shoulder annealing prevents premature neck splitting, maintains consistent projectile tension, and supports repeated firing cycles.
• Differential Case Hardness: Formed with a softer neck for tight gas sealing and a hardened head structure to maintain primer pocket integrity during reloading.
• Calibre Standardisation: Built specifically to 6mm Norma BR dimensions with a 30° shoulder angle.
• Small Rifle Primer Pocket: Configured for standard Small Rifle Primers to deliver consistent ignition profiles.

Who is the Norma 6mm BR Unprimed Brass 100 Pack for?

• Benchrest precision match shooters — requires a uniform 6mm Norma BR case rated for up to 4,050 bar of pressure to maintain tight velocity spreads and mechanical accuracy across 100 m to 600 m competitive courses of fire.
• Wildcat handloaders — requires high-uniformity unprimed rifle cartridge brass supplied in a 100-count pack to fire-form into parent cases for modified short-action cartridges like the 6mm Dasher or 6mm BRX.

Less suitable for: Target engagements beyond 800 to 1,000 m where higher-capacity 6mm or 6.5mm cases are required to maintain supersonic stability, or unmodified standard-length repeating rifle actions lacking specialised magazine spacer kits to feed short, fat 30° shoulder cases.
