The Norma Jaktmatch .30-06 Springfield 150gr FMJ (Product Code: 20176510) is a factory-loaded, centerfire rifle cartridge engineered in Sweden for consistent range training, rifle zeroing, and non-expanding field applications. Loaded with a 150-grain (9.7 g) Full Metal Jacket projectile, this ammunition delivers a muzzle velocity of 845 m/s (2,772 fps) and 3,463 J of muzzle energy from a 610 mm test barrel. Packaged in 50-round boxes, each cartridge uses premium virgin, reloadable brass cases and non-corrosive primers to deliver flight ballistics and recoil profiles comparable to standard hunting loads.

• Ballistic Trajectory: Features a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.423, maintaining 774 m/s velocity and 2,906 J of energy at 100 metres, with factory trajectory mapped out to 300 metres (642 m/s and 1,999 J).
• Consistent Point of Impact: Formulated to match standard field hunting ammunition profiles, enabling shooters to zero optics at the recommended 170-metre distance without substantial ballistic disparity.
• Premium Reloadable Cases: Built with high-grade virgin brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers suitable for case collection and repeated reloading cycles.
• Non-Expanding Projectile: Full Metal Jacket bullet construction prevents rapid terminal expansion, making it suited for paper target penetration and pelt-preserving small game applications.

Who is the Norma Jaktmatch .30-06 150gr FMJ 50 Pack for?

• Target shooters and competitive riflemen — Delivers factory-consistent trajectories with an 845 m/s muzzle velocity and a 0.423 G1 ballistic coefficient across 50-round bulk boxes for high-volume range training.
• Hunters pre-season training and zeroing — Generates 3,463 J of muzzle energy to replicate the recoil profile and ballistics of hunting cartridges when sighting in 30-06 Springfield rifles at a 170-metre zero.
• Small game and bird hunters — Uses a solid 150-grain non-expanding FMJ bullet to prevent excessive meat and pelt destruction on smaller game targets out to 300 metres.

Less suitable for: Medium-to-large game hunting (such as deer, feral pigs, or goats), because the Full Metal Jacket bullet does not expand upon impact; hunters pursuing large game require expanding soft point, bonded-core, or ballistic tip hunting cartridges for humane terminal expansion.
