The Norma Precision Unprimed Brass .17 Remington Shooter Pack provides 50 pieces of factory-new, reloadable cartridge cases engineered specifically for precision handloading. Manufactured from solid drawn brass, each case features a standard Small Rifle Primer (SRP) pocket and a punched flash hole conforming to SAAMI and CIP dimensions. Norma incorporates factory-annealed case necks and shoulders to ensure proper ductility, consistent bullet seating tension, and resistance to split necks, while maintaining a hardened case head to prevent primer pocket expansion across multiple firing cycles.

Key Features

• Calibre-Specific Forming: Drawn strictly for .17 Remington chambers to provide uniform internal case capacity and consistent wall thickness for low velocity spread.
• Factory-Annealed Necks: Precision thermal treatment at the neck and shoulder optimises brass ductility to maintain gas seals and extend reload life.
• Standard Small Rifle Primer Pockets: Machined to tight tolerances to hold standard SRP primers securely through repeated high-pressure firings.
• Graduated Hardness Profile: Hardened case heads prevent premature case head separation and pocket enlargement under standard working pressures up to approximately 55,000 PSI.

Who is the Norma .17 Remington Unprimed Brass 50 Pack for?

• Handloaders reloading custom .17 Remington ammunition — Requires a 50-piece pack of uniform unprimed brass cases featuring standard Small Rifle Primer pockets to achieve consistent internal volume and repeatable ignition.
• Precision varmint hunters — Requires dimension-matched .17 Remington brass cases designed to cycle through dedicated .17 Rem chambers for high-velocity pest control on foxes, rabbits, feral cats, and wild dogs.

Less suitable for: Handloaders loading other .17-calibre firearms such as the .17 Hornet, .17 Fireball, or .17 WSM (which require their own calibre-specific brass), long-range shooting beyond 300 to 400 metres where high winds deflect lightweight .172-calibre projectiles (where heavier .224, 6mm, or 6.5mm calibre cartridge cases are better suited), or hunting medium-to-large game such as deer and pigs (which require larger hunting calibres such as .243 Win or .308 Win).
