The Norma Bondstrike Extreme .300 PRC 180gr ammunition is engineered for medium-to-large game hunting and long-range shooting applications. Loaded with a 180-grain (11.7 g) tipped boat-tail soft point projectile, it leaves a standard 610 mm (24 in) test barrel at a muzzle velocity of 930 m/s (3,051 fps) and generates 5,062 Joules of muzzle energy. The polymer tip and aerodynamic boat-tail design yield a high ballistic coefficient of 0.615 (G1) and 0.308 (G7), delivering flat trajectories and reduced wind drift. Utilizing chemical bonding technology, the lead core remains bonded to the jacket for high weight retention and controlled terminal expansion on impact.

Key Features:

• Bonded Core Construction: Chemical bonding between the lead core and jacket prevents separation upon bone and high-velocity impacts.
• Aerodynamic Polymer Tip: Drives a high ballistic coefficient for flat downrange trajectories and initiates terminal expansion upon impact.
• Tapered Jacket Design: Features a thinner jacket near the tip for reliable expansion at lower velocities alongside a thicker base for deep penetration.
• Premium Reloadable Cases: Loaded in Boxer-primed, non-corrosive brass cases suited for precision reloading.

Who is the Norma Bondstrike Extreme .300 PRC 180gr for?

• Long-range deer and feral pig hunters — achieves high downrange terminal performance with a 0.615 G1 ballistic coefficient and 180-grain bonded bullet that retains mass and drives deep penetration on medium-to-large game.
• Precision rifle hunters — delivers flat trajectories and bucked wind drift through a factory muzzle velocity of 930 m/s (3,051 fps) paired with match-grade boat-tail consistency.

Less suitable for: Rifles chambered in alternative .30-calibre cartridges such as .300 Win Mag or .300 WSM, or extreme-distance engagements where projectile impact velocity drops below 2,000 fps, where dedicated lower-velocity expansion or match target projectiles are better suited.
