How do bullet impacts show up on the Pro-Shot 8B-GREEN-6PK targets?

These targets feature a reactive design where bullet impacts flake away the dark surface layer to expose a bright, fluorescent neon green halo ring. This high-contrast visual feedback allows you to easily spot your hits downrange without needing a spotting scope or walking to the target line.

What shooting distances and calibres are best suited for these 8-inch targets?

The 8-inch size is ideal for handgun practice at 5 to 25 metres, and for zeroing rimfire or centrefire rifles at 25 to 100 metres. They handle all standard calibres from airguns and .22 LR up to hunting rounds like .223 Rem and .308 Win, though extended rifle shooting beyond 100 metres is better suited to larger 12 to 18 inch targets.

How do I mount these targets and make them last longer at the range?

Each target includes a peel-and-stick self-adhesive backing that adheres securely to cardboard, plywood backers, or directly over old, shot-out paper targets. To maximise shooting life, the pack includes 12 repair pasters per sheet to cover previous bullet holes between strings.

Are there any special licensing or electrical compliance requirements for these targets in Australia?

No permits, firearm licences, or electrical compliance certifications such as SAA or RCM are required to purchase or use these targets. They are passive paper shooting consumables that require no power source and are widely stocked by Australian shooting supply retailers.

Splatter Target - Pro-Shot 8B-GREEN-6PK

The Proshot Splatter Shot 8" Green Peel & Stick Bullseye Target - 6 Pack provides instant, high-contrast visual feedback upon projectile impact. Built on heavy tag cardstock with a self-adhesive backing, bullet strikes trigger a reactive flaking effect that exposes a bright, fluorescent neon green halo around each shot hole. This enables shooters to confirm shot placement immediately downrange without requiring spotting optics or frequent trips to the target line. Packaged in a reusable zipper-top bag, each pack includes 6 bullseye target sheets and integrated repair pasters to extend the usable life of every target.

Who is the Proshot Splatter Shot 8" Green Peel & Stick Bullseye Target - 6 Pack for?

Handgun Shooters: Provides immediate visual impact verification at defensive distances from 5 to 25 metres using an 8.0-inch (203.2 mm) reactive shooting target face that eliminates the need to halt shooting to inspect hits.
Rifle Shooters Zeroing Rimfire and Centrefire Rifles: Features an 8.0-inch (203.2 mm) diameter bullseye format and 12 repair pasters per sheet to streamline group adjustments and optic zeroing at distances between 25 and 100 metres without relying on a spotting scope.

Less suitable for: Extended rifle disciplines beyond 100 to 200+ metres, where larger 12-inch to 18-inch reactive splatter targets or dedicated multi-target MOA sight-in grids are better suited for distant target acquisition and precise optic adjustments.
