How visible is the reactive splatter effect at longer rifle zeroing distances like 100 metres?

At 100 metres, the 8-inch Pro-Shot white target reveals a high-contrast fluorescent pink halo upon bullet impact, which allows shooters to easily spot hits through standard magnified optics without needing to walk downrange. However, for precision shooting past 200 metres, many shooters transition to larger silhouette options like the Pro-Shot 12x18 Silhouette Targets for enhanced long-range visibility.

Do I need staplers or tape to mount these targets at the shooting range?

No extra mounting hardware is required because each of the 30 targets in the pack features a high-tack peel-and-stick adhesive backing. They adhere securely directly to cardboard backers, wooden target stands, or previously shot paper surfaces, though you should ensure the mounting surface is dry for the best stick.

Are these targets compatible with smaller calibres like .22 LR rimfire and airgun pellets?

Yes, the Pro-Shot 8-inch white splatter targets are universally compatible with all standard calibres ranging from .177 and .22 airgun pellets up to larger centrefire rifle rounds and shotgun slugs. Smaller calibres still create a clean reactive halo, making them excellent for rimfire practice at local SSAA ranges or private properties.

How do the included adhesive pasters help extend the life of each target sheet?

The pack includes matching adhesive target repair dots or pasters that allow you to quickly patch previous bullet holes between strings of fire. By covering up past impacts, you can reuse the same 8-inch white bullseye sheet for multiple rounds, significantly increasing the lifespan of each target during a heavy shooting session.

Reactive Shooting Targets - Pro-Shot 8B-WHTE-30PK

The Proshot Splatter Shot 8" White Peel & Stick Bullseye Target - 30 Pack (MPN: 8B-WHTE-30PK) is an adhesive reactive shooting target designed to provide instant visual feedback on shot placement. Constructed in the USA from heavyweight tag paper with a high-tack adhesive backing, each 8-inch (approximately 20.3 cm) round target features a white face that bursts into a high-contrast reactive ring upon bullet impact. This reactive splatter technology eliminates the need to walk downrange or constantly rely on spotting scopes to confirm hits. Compatible with all standard calibres—from .177 airgun pellets and .22 LR rimfire to centrefire rifles and shotgun slugs—each target includes matching adhesive repair pasters to cover previous shot holes and extend target usability.

Key Features

High-Contrast Reactive Halo: Impacting projectiles chip away the white outer surface layer to expose a vivid, high-visibility underlayer around the bullet hole for instant downrange confirmation.
Peel-and-Stick Adhesive Backing: High-tack self-adhesive backing secures firmly to flat, dry backers including cardboard, plywood, and target stands without requiring staples, tape, or tacks.
Target Repair Pasters Included: Each sheet features matching adhesive pasters to patch shot holes, allowing shooters to prolong target life across multiple strings of fire.
Universal Calibre Compatibility: Reacts reliably with airguns, rimfire, standard handgun cartridges (such as 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP), and centrefire rifle calibres.

Who is the Proshot Splatter Shot 8" White Bullseye Target for?

Handgun practice at 7–25 m — provides an easily acquired 8-inch diameter bullseye face with high-contrast reactive halos that allow pistol shooters to verify impacts immediately at standard 7 m to 25 m range distances.
Rifle zeroing and load development at 50–100 m — delivers a 30-pack supply of self-adhesive reactive targets to record group consistency and zero rifles at 50 m to 100 m without requiring spotting optics between individual shots.

Less suitable for: Shooters engaging targets past 100–200 m, where larger 12"×18" silhouette paper targets or audible steel targets provide a more practical aiming area and impact signal.
