The Pro-Tactical Sportsman Series SD7 Gun Safe provides secure residential storage for up to 7 longarms and ammunition. Constructed with a 3 mm steel door, a 2 mm steel body, and an anti-pry frame with recessed hinges, this safe meets Australian regulatory requirements for Category A and B firearms. It features a tri-method locking system powered by an included 9V battery, combining a biometric fingerprint scanner capable of storing up to 100 prints, a backlit digital combination keypad, and a physical key override. A separate, lockable 185 mm high internal ammunition compartment ensures ammunition and handguns remain segregated from the main cabinet, while the fully upholstered interior protects stocks, barrels, and optics from scratches.

Who is the Pro-Tactical Sportsman Series SD7 Gun Safe for?

• Australian recreational hunters requiring Category A and B firearm storage — Meets statutory compliance with its 2 mm steel body, 3 mm steel door, and dedicated internal ammo locker, providing pre-drilled holes to anchor its 49 kg frame.
• Shooters storing longarms in residential properties — Accommodates rifles and shotguns up to 1300 mm in overall length inside a fully carpeted digital fingerprint gun safe measuring 1500 mm (H) × 350 mm (W) × 300 mm (D).

Less suitable for: Longarms exceeding 1300 mm in overall length, which cannot stand vertically and require a taller firearm cabinet, or users who cannot bolt the safe to the structure, as the 49 kg mass falls below the 150 kg threshold and requires a heavier unanchored safe or structural fixing.
