How does the Terragrip pad perform in wet conditions at the shooting range or out in the bush?

The Quake Terragrip Bag Carry Strap features a moisture- and odor-resistant molded polymer pad that does not absorb water or degrade like traditional open-cell foam pads. This ensures the strap maintains its non-slip grip and comfort during wet weather or rainy field conditions in the Australian outback.

What type of attachment hardware is required on my gear bag to use this strap?

The strap is equipped with heavy-duty snap clasps and swivel hooks designed to quickly attach to standard D-rings, O-rings, and loop attachment hardware. It is fully compatible with most standard shooting range bags, heavy-duty duffels, and soft gun cases.

Does this strap require any electrical compliance certifications for the Australian market?

No electrical compliance certifications, such as SAA or RCM approvals, are required for the Quake Terragrip Bag Carry Strap. It is a fully passive, unpowered mechanical accessory containing no electrical components and requiring no mains power connection.

Is this single-shoulder strap suitable for carrying heavy loads over steep terrain or extended distances?

While the adjustable synthetic webbing and non-slip pad efficiently distribute weight for standard range and field bags, this is a single-shoulder sling solution. For carrying heavier pack weights or navigating steep terrain over extended distances, dual-shoulder backpack harness systems like the Quake Claw Treestand Straps are better suited to prevent asymmetrical shoulder strain.

Bag Carry Strap - Quake 80000-2

The Quake Terragrip Bag Carry Strap - Black (Model: 80000-2) is an aftermarket replacement strap designed to upgrade factory shoulder straps on range bags, soft gun cases, tackle boxes, and travel duffels. Built with a molded, non-slip textured shoulder pad, it keeps heavy loads securely positioned on the shoulder during transit. The non-absorbent synthetic construction prevents moisture and odor retention, maintaining performance in wet outdoor and range conditions.

Key Features

Non-Slip Molded Pad: Utilises textured Terragrip pad material designed to grip clothing and prevent sliding off the shoulder.
Moisture-Resistant Construction: Pad material does not absorb water or degrade like traditional open-cell foam padding.
Heavy-Duty Webbing: Integrated synthetic webbing includes length-adjustment hardware for custom fit.
Swivel Snap Clasps: High-strength hardware clips directly onto standard D-rings, O-rings, and loop attachment points on compatible gear bags.
