The Redding Model 3BR Match-Grade Universal Metering Chamber (Part Number: 03330) is a precision-machined volumetric metering insert engineered exclusively for the Redding Match-Grade Model 3BR Powder Measure. It provides manual, mechanical propellant dispensing for handloaders requiring repeatable charge throws from 5 to 100 grains of smokeless powder. Featuring an integrated micrometer adjustment mechanism with engraved reference graduations, this chamber allows reloaders to precisely record, adjust, and return to specific volumetric settings across extruded, flake, and ball propellants without electrical power requirements.

Key Features

• Broad Volumetric Capacity: Delivers single-throw powder drops spanning approximately 5 to 100 grains of smokeless propellant for medium-to-large rifle cases and standard handgun charges.
• Precision Micrometer Adjustment: Features laser-etched/engraved micrometer markings for exact indexing, fine adjustments, and reliable record-keeping of verified load settings.
• Manual Mechanical Operation: Operates entirely by hand via threaded micrometer advancement, requiring no electrical supply or mains adapters.
• Dedicated Model 3BR Fit: Machined specifically as a direct-fit replacement or conversion insert for the Redding Match-Grade Model 3BR casting drum.

Who is the Redding Model 3BR Universal Metering Chamber for?

• Precision Rifle Handloaders: Requires repeatable volumetric propellant throws across a 5 to 100 grains range with micrometer indexing for Benchrest, Silhouette, and PRS match cartridges loaded on a Redding Match-Grade Model 3BR Powder Measure.
• Recreational Handloaders: Needs a universal powder measure metering chamber weighing approximately 0.35 to 0.40 lbs that can transition between standard handgun loads and medium-to-large rifle charges within a single 5 to 100 grains operating envelope.

Less suitable for: Handloaders dropping light pistol charges below 5 grains, who require a dedicated small-capacity pistol metering chamber (0.5 to 10 grains capacity), or those throwing individual magnum charges exceeding 100 grains, who require a dedicated large-capacity powder dispenser.
