The Sellier & Bellot 12 Gauge 2¾” (12x70) Buck Shot UK #AAA ammunition delivers a heavy 36g lead payload engineered for pest control and medium-game management. Loaded with 5.1mm diameter pellets, this cartridge bridges the performance gap between large birdshot and coarse 00 buckshot, providing higher pattern density without sacrificing individual pellet kinetic energy. Each factory-loaded shell achieves a muzzle velocity of 360 m/s and utilises a traditional felt wad to ensure reliable gas sealing and consistent pattern dispersion across compatible platforms.

Key Features

• 5.1mm UK #AAA Shot: Delivers balanced terminal energy and dense pattern distribution, packing multiple 5.1mm lead pellets into each round to increase target hit probability.
• 36g Payload: Features a full 36g load propelled to a consistent muzzle velocity of 360 m/s (1,181 fps).
• Felt Wad Construction: Incorporates a traditional felt wad that provides dependable bore sealing and predictable shot column release without a plastic shot cup.
• Standard Chamber Compatibility: Roll-crimped to standard 2¾” (70 mm) specifications, functioning reliably in break-action, pump-action, straight-pull, and lever-action shotguns.
• Box Packaging: Supplied in standard packs of 25 rounds per box.

Who is the S&B Sellier & Bellot 12 Gauge 2¾” Buck Shot 5.1mm 36g UK #AAA Ammo for?

• Feral pest control shooters targeting foxes, wild dogs, and dingoes — requires this 12 gauge buckshot ammunition for its 5.1mm pellet size and 36g payload, which deliver sufficient pellet density and penetration to reliably humanely drop predators within practical working ranges of 25 to 40 metres.
• Pest managers controlling medium game at close range — relies on this 12 gauge buckshot ammunition to push a 36g payload at 360 m/s, offering tighter pattern saturation on medium-sized targets where coarser 00 buckshot patterns would produce sparse, open shot distribution.

Less suitable for: Distances beyond 40 to 50 metres or large game exceeding medium pest size (such as large feral pigs, goats, or deer), where heavier SG / 00 buckshot or solid shotgun slugs are standard; it is also completely unsuitable for firearms with 2½ inch (65 mm) chambers or smaller sub-gauge bores including 16ga, 20ga, and .410.
