The Sellier & Bellot .32 S&W Long ammunition (factory code V311302) is engineered for precision paper-target shooting and bullseye competition. Featuring a 100-grain solid lead wadcutter projectile seated flush in a Boxer-primed, reloadable brass case, this cartridge punches sharp, clean holes in targets to simplify scoring. Developing a muzzle velocity of 224 m/s and a muzzle energy of 163 Joules from a standard 150 mm test barrel, it produces minimal recoil impulse to reduce shooter fatigue across extended match courses.

Key Features

• Target-Scoring Wadcutter Profile: The solid unjacketed lead wadcutter cleanly cuts cardboard and paper targets without tearing.
• Mild Recoil Impulse: Generates an estimated power factor of 73.5 kgr·fps, allowing rapid recovery between shots.
• Reloadable Factory Brass: Constructed with non-corrosive Boxer primers and quality brass cases with a total cartridge length of 24.30 mm.
• Firearm Compatibility: Functions in dedicated semi-automatic target pistols chambered for flush-seated .32 S&W Long Wadcutter ammunition (such as the Walther GSP, Benelli MP90S, and Pardini HP) as well as revolvers chambered in .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum, and .327 Federal Magnum.

Who is the Sellier & Bellot .32 S&W Long 100 Grain Wadcutter Ammo for?

• 25 m ISSF Centre Fire Pistol Competitors — requires minimal recovery time between shots, which this handgun ammunition delivers through a mild 163 Joules of muzzle energy and a 224 m/s velocity that cuts cleanly through paper targets at the 25-metre line.
• Precision Revolver Target Shooters — demands consistent mechanical accuracy and low physical fatigue, achieved by this 100 grains unjacketed wadcutter loading seated in factory brass to maintain soft shooting dynamics over 50 rounds.

Less suitable for: Distances beyond 50 m, where rapid aerodynamic drag causes a -12.7 cm trajectory drop at 50 m and a -97.0 cm drop at 100 m, requiring round-nose or rifle ammunition instead; also unsuitable for hunting medium-to-large game, which requires dedicated expanding hunting calibres.
