The Sellier & Bellot .300 Win Mag 180 Grain SPCE Cutting Edge Rifle Ammunition delivers high-velocity impact energy tailored for medium game hunting. Featuring a Semi-Jacketed Soft Point Cutting Edge (SPCE) projectile, this cartridge combines an exposed lead tip with a stepped jacket shoulder. This mechanical edge locks the lead core inside the copper alloy jacket to control expansion on impact while punching a distinct, clean wound channel through animal hide. Packaged in a 40-round bulk pack (SKU: V335942), this load utilises standard reloadable brass cases with non-corrosive Boxer primers to maintain consistent chamber pressure and dependable cycling in bolt-action hunting platforms.

Key Features

• SPCE Bullet Profile: Features a grooved cutting edge on the jacket shoulder that controls core deformation while punching clean, open entrance wounds to aid tracking.
• Magnum Terminal Ballistics: Produces a factory-rated muzzle velocity of 895 m/s (~2,936 fps) and a muzzle energy output of 4,686 Joules (~3,456 ft-lb).
• Reloadable Brass Cases: Built with high-grade, Boxer-primed non-corrosive brass suitable for standard reloading dies.
• 40-Round Bulk Packaging: Supplies double the volume of standard 20-round centerfire boxes for extended sighting-in sessions and field use.

Who is the S&B Sellier & Bellot 300 Win Mag 180 Grain Spce Cutting Edge Ammo 40rd Bulk Pack for?

• Hunters targeting fallow deer, red deer, and feral goats — Generates 4,686 Joules of muzzle energy with a 180-grain projectile, providing the impact force and controlled jacket expansion required for fast kinetic energy transfer on medium game species.
• Hunters targeting medium-sized feral pigs — Delivers a muzzle velocity of 895 m/s paired with a cutting-edge jacket step that punches clean, non-closing entrance holes through tough animal hide, ensuring reliable blood trails within 300-metre hunting envelopes.

Less suitable for: Long-range shooting beyond 300 metres, where high-ballistic-coefficient, boat-tail polymer-tipped ammunition delivers flatter trajectories, as well as dangerous or thick-skinned game (such as water buffalo or scrub bulls), where bonded or monolithic solid-copper bullets provide the required penetration without jacket-core separation.
