The Sellier & Bellot .366 / 9.3mm Cal 193-Grain Soft Point Bullets (50 Pack) (Drawing No. 2951) are standalone reloading projectiles manufactured in the Czech Republic for handloading 9.3mm hunting ammunition. Featuring a nominal .366-inch (9.30 mm) diameter and a light-for-calibre 193-grain (12.50 g) weight, this projectile delivers a lower recoil impulse while achieving adequate velocity in classic, thin-walled, or combination break-action rifles. It is engineered with a standard lead core enclosed in a drawn CuZn 10 tombac brass jacket (90% copper, 10% zinc) with a flat base and an exposed lead nose tip designed for uniform expansion on impact.

Key Features

• Light-for-Calibre Profile: Weighing 193 grains, this is the lightest standard bullet in the 9.3mm lineup, generating reduced recoil and higher muzzle velocities in break-action platforms.
• Controlled Hunting Expansion: Utilises a semi-jacketed design with exposed lead to initiate rapid mushrooming and reliable weight retention on medium game.
• Drawn CuZn 10 Jacket: Features a 90/10 copper-zinc tombac jacket encasing a solid lead core to ensure structural integrity across standard hunting velocities.
• Specific Chambering Support: Engineered specifically for traditional 9.3x72R cartridge loadings, while also compatible with 9.3x62mm and 9.3x74R handloads requiring lighter projectiles.

Who is the S&B Sellier & Bellot .366 9.3mm Cal 193 Grain Sp Bullets 50 Pack for?

• Handloaders loading for vintage European drilling and combination guns — Requires a nominal .366 in bullet diameter matched to traditional 9.3x72R bore dimensions, providing a light 193 grains bullet weight that keeps operating pressures and recoil impulse within classic firearm tolerances.
• Hunters targeting medium game such as deer, wild boar, and feral goats — Relies on a sectional density of 0.206 lb/in² paired with a controlled-expansion soft point bullet profile to achieve reliable terminal penetration and rapid mushrooming at hunting ranges under 200 yards.

Less suitable for: Extended-range hunting beyond 200 yards where velocity drops to 1,408 fps and kinetic energy falls to 849 ft-lb, which requires a higher ballistic coefficient, heavier spire-point projectile; incompatible with .35-calibre (.358 in) or .375-calibre bores, and unsuited for heavy dangerous game such as water buffalo, which require heavier 285-grain or 286-grain hunting bullets for deeper penetration.
