The Sellier & Bellot 7x64 Brenneke 173 Grain SPCE bulk pack delivers factory-loaded centreline rifle ammunition engineered for medium to large game hunting and high-volume field training. Featuring a heavy 173-grain (11.2 g) Semi-Jacketed Soft Point Cutting Edge (SPCE) projectile, this load leaves a 600 mm test barrel at a muzzle velocity of 770 m/s and produces 3,320 Joules of muzzle energy. The projectile design incorporates a CuZn 10 jacket with a distinct sharp shoulder that locks the lead core in place for controlled mushrooming while punching clean entry wounds for traceable blood trails. Packaged in a 50-round bulk box with reloadable Boxer-primed brass cases, it provides high-capacity shooting utility for hunters and sporting marksmen operating 7x64 bolt-action rifles.

Key Features

• SPCE Cutting Edge Profile: The stepped jacket shoulder mechanically anchors the lead core to ensure uniform terminal expansion while cleanly shearing hair and hide at the point of impact.
• Heavy 173-Grain Payload: Maximises momentum and downrange energy transfer, retaining 2,163 to 2,169 Joules at 200 metres for deep penetration on heavy-bodied game.
• Standard Bulk Packaging: Supplied in a 50-round factory box, offering an economical volume format for range sight-in sessions, running boar target drills, and extended hunting trips.
• Reloadable Factory Brass: Loaded into non-corrosive, Boxer-primed standard brass cartridge cases measuring 83.50 mm in overall length.

Who is the S&B Sellier & Bellot 7x64 Brenneke 173 Grain Spce Cutting Edge Ammo 50 Rd Bulk Pack for?

• Australian deer and feral pig hunters — delivers 3,320 Joules of muzzle energy and a 173-grain expanding bullet that provides the deep penetration and reliable tissue displacement required for large feral game from 7x64mm Brenneke rifles.
• European red deer and wild boar hunters — utilises a 173-grain SPCE cutting-edge bullet with a factory Most Recommended Distance of 157 metres, producing a clean entrance hole to assist game tracking in dense timber.
• Running boar and range training shooters — provides 50 rounds per box of full-power 7x64mm Brenneke ammunition loaded with 770 m/s velocity brass-cased cartridges, lowering per-round practice costs compared to standard 20-round hunting boxes.

Less suitable for: Long-range hunting beyond 300 to 400 metres, where the 56.5 cm drop at 300 metres (with a 100 m zero) and 0.376 G1 ballistic coefficient make a boat-tail polymer-tipped cartridge better suited; lead-free hunting reserves requiring monolithic copper ammunition; or rifles chambered in 7x57mm, 7x65R, or 7mm Remington Magnum.
