The Sightron SVI / S6 Series 5-30x56mm Riflescope is a precision long-range aiming optic built around a 34 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium maintube and Japanese Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass. Designed for extreme-distance accuracy, it pairs a First Focal Plane (FFP) optical design with an illuminated MOA-8 etched glass reticle, ensuring sub-tensions remain true throughout the entire 5–30x magnification range. The optical system features Zact-7 Revcoat Plus multi-coatings for high light transmission through the 56 mm objective lens. To maintain point-of-impact integrity under heavy recoil, Sightron incorporates its patented ExacTrack erector tube system, offering 80 MOA of total elevation travel with an integrated mechanical zero stop.

Key Features

• First Focal Plane MOA-8 Reticle: Glass-etched reticle scales dynamically across the 5–30x zoom range, supported by 11 red illumination intensity levels with alternating off positions powered by a CR2032 coin cell.
• Precision Erector System: Patented ExacTrack system applies uniform pressure across erector travel to prevent reticle drift across 80 MOA of elevation and 60 MOA of windage adjustments.
• Tactile Turrets with Zero Stop: Features 1/4 MOA click values with 20 MOA per rotation, allowing rapid elevation dialling and a positive return to your established zero.
• Side-Focus Parallax: Adjustable parallax from 10 yards (~9.1 m) to infinity eliminates optical error across rimfire, mid-range, and extreme-distance targets.
• Rugged Environmental Sealing: Nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed with an IPX7 waterproof rating (submersible up to 1 m for 30 minutes) and 1,000G shock resistance capable of handling magnum recoil.

Who is the Sightron SVI Series 5-30x56mm Riflescope for?

• Long-Range Precision Target Shooters (PRS and F-Class) — Requires the substantial 80 MOA total elevation travel housed within the rigid 34 mm maintube to dial for extreme-distance trajectories without losing optical zero under repeat adjustments.
• Extreme Long-Range Rimfire Competitors — Benefits from the close 10-yard side-focus parallax minimum paired with 30x maximum magnification, allowing this First Focal Plane riflescope to resolve fine target detail at short rimfire distances up to extended ranges.
• Static and Vehicle-Based Long-Range Hunters — Utilises the large 56 mm objective lens and Japanese ED glass to maximise light collection and target identification across the broad 5–30x zoom range during stationary field observation.

Less suitable for: Mobile backcountry stalking or extended off-hand hunting where carrying a 33.3 oz (~944 g) optic is impractical; lighter 1-inch or 30 mm hunting scopes weighing under 600 g are better suited for active field carry.
