OK, so shooters often need some extra support to hold the muzzle of their firearm in a fixed position in order to shoot game with precision. Photographers using long telephoto lenses to capture images of small birds and native mammals have much the same need. An unsupported long telephoto lens moving even a few millimetres a second can create movement blur that can destroy the impact of a bird portrait. The Xhunter Mono Shooting Stick is lightweight and can be extended effortlessly in a few seconds using the trigger to full height to serve as a rest for either a rifle or a long telephoto lens giving the standing shooter (whether hunter or photographer) the best chance of a precision capture. If the head of the shooting stick could be improved to enable easy removal and replacement with a wider support notch to match common telephoto lenses, I would award this product 5 stars, rather than 4.
