The 10x42 lens system uses Steiner's High-Definition lens elements and phase-corrected prisms to transmit bright images with enhanced color fidelity and contrast. The 10x42 R Tactical binocular is outfitted with the Steiner Universal Mil Reticle (SUMR). This close to long-range targeting reticle has mil-hash markings along its posts (10 mil / 5 mil increments) and fine crosshair (1 mil / 0.5 mil / 0.2 mil) to enable quicker and more effective communication between spotter and shooter as well as other tactical operatives.
