Meanwhile, the 6x18 Mono's close focus distance of just 12" is useful for examining flowers, insects, brushstrokes on paintings, or fine printed matter.This monocular's compact form factor – only 3.4" long and weighing just 2 ounces, with a leather pouch and a carrying strap – make it easy to have on hand. Its housing is made of durable aluminum, is splash resistant, and has an operating temperature range of -4° to 104°.
