What is the effective engagement range for the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-9x40 PHR 4 BDC Turret?

This riflescope performs best at standard hunting distances between 50 and 300 metres, supported by its fixed 100-metre parallax and 3-9x magnification window. While it features an exposed BDC elevation turret and a total adjustment range of 60 MOA, engaging targets beyond 300 to 400 metres is not recommended due to the fixed parallax and lower magnification limits.

What mounting hardware do I need to attach this riflescope to my rifle?

The Thrive X 3-9x40 features a 30 millimetre one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum main tube, requiring standard 30 mm ring mounts and bases compatible with your specific firearm setup, such as Picatinny or Weaver rails. It also includes a stretch-fit neoprene protective cover to safeguard the objective lens and turret during transport in the bush.

How does the fixed parallax perform at very close ranges for rimfire or pest control?

Because the parallax is factory fixed at 100 metres, attempting to shoot at close quarters under 25 to 30 metres will result in noticeable optical parallax error and target blur. For close-range paddock pest control, users should keep target distances well outside this lower threshold to maintain a sharp, clear sight picture through the second focal plane PHR 4 reticle.

What kind of warranty and local support does ZeroTech offer in Australia?

As an Australian-owned optics brand designed specifically for local conditions, ZeroTech supports this riflescope with their Triple A Lifetime Warranty, providing unconditional local replacement or repair through Tasco Sales Australia. It is nitrogen-purged, O-ring sealed for an IPX7 waterproof and fogproof rating, and features proprietary Weathershield lens coatings to shed rain, mud, and condensation during demanding Australian bushstalking trips.

Who is the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-9x40 PHR 4 BDC Turret for?

Australian bushstalkers — needs rapid target framing at standard hunting ranges, provided by this variable power hunting riflescope via its 3–9x magnification range and wide 12.9 m field of view at 100 metres.
Paddock rabbit and fox varmint hunters — relies on precise elevation compensation when engaging small pests across varied terrain, facilitated by the 60 MOA total elevation and windage travel paired with 0.25 MOA per click turret adjustments.

Less suitable for: Target engagements beyond 300 to 400 metres, where a higher-magnification riflescope featuring an adjustable side parallax turret is required to eliminate optical parallax error, or close-range shooting under 25 to 30 metres, which causes optical parallax blur against the factory 100-metre fixed focus.
