The ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 Mildot is a second focal plane (SFP) hunting riflescope engineered for medium-range game targeting, paddock pest control, and range shooting. Built around a 30 mm one-piece 6061-T6 aluminium main tube, the optic delivers variable 3x to 12x magnification with a 44 mm objective lens. Optical performance is supported by fully multi-coated glass and Weathershield hydrophobic exterior lens coatings, while an argon-purged and O-ring-sealed chassis ensures waterproof and fogproof reliability across varied field conditions.

Key Features

• Optical System: 3–12x variable magnification with a 44 mm objective lens and a classic Second Focal Plane Mildot reticle calibrated at 12x.
• Parallax Adjustment: Side focus parallax dial adjustable from 10 metres to infinity, supporting both close-range rimfire pest control and extended centrefire shooting.
• Turret Design: Low-profile capped hunting turrets with 0.1 MRAD click values and approximately 60 MOA of internal elevation and windage adjustment.
• Chassis Construction: 30 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium body weighing 607 g, argon-purged for water and fog protection.
• Eye Relief: 85 mm to 91 mm eye relief with an exit pupil ranging from 14.4 mm at 3x down to 3.7 mm at 12x.

Who is the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 Mildot for?

• Medium-range deer and feral pig hunters — offers a 3-12x magnification range paired with a 44 mm objective lens on a 607 g SFP hunting rifle scope, delivering sufficient light gathering and mid-power target identification without weighing down a field rifle during extended walks.
• Paddock vermin and rabbit shooters — benefits from side focus parallax adjustment that dials down to 10 metres, allowing this hunting rifle scope to eliminate optical error on close-quarters targets when mounted on small calibres.
• Rimfire and centrefire range target shooters — relies on the 30 mm main tube housing ~60 MOA of internal elevation travel and calibrated 0.1 MRAD clicks to hold consistent zeroes from 10 metres out to medium distances.

Less suitable for: Long-range precision and target shooters engaging beyond 500–600 metres, where capped turrets and a 12x top end become restrictive; a higher-magnification, first-focal-plane (FFP) optic with exposed dialing turrets and a dedicated zero stop is better suited.
