The ZeroTech Thrive X 4-16x50 Mildot is a second-focal-plane (SFP) hunting riflescope engineered for medium-to-long-range field shooting. Built on a 30 mm one-piece aluminium tube, it pairs a versatile 4-16x magnification range with a large 50 mm objective lens to maximise light transmission during low-light hours. Aiming is managed via a traditional, non-illuminated MilDot reticle calibrated at 16x magnification, supported by capped low-profile turrets that prevent accidental adjustment during transport or stalking through dense scrub.

Key Features

  • Fully Multi-Coated Optics: Finished with proprietary Weathershield coatings to repel moisture, fog, and dust from outer lens surfaces.
  • Capped Turrets: Provides 0.25 MOA click adjustments protected beneath aluminium caps to prevent unwanted dial shifts in rough terrain.
  • Side Parallax Adjustment: Dial focus adjustable from 10 metres to infinity, supporting both close-range rimfire targets and extended centrefire distances.
  • MilDot Reticle: Second-focal-plane layout providing milliradian elevation holdover and windage reference marks without requiring turret dialling.
  • Weatherproof Construction: Nitrogen-purged, waterproof, and fog-proof housing built to endure heavy hunting calibres including .308 and .300 Win Mag.

Who is the ZeroTech Thrive X 4-16x50 for?

  • Medium-to-long-range hunters targeting feral pigs, goats, and deer — benefits from the 4-16x magnification range and 60 MOA elevation travel, which allow precise target identification and bullet-drop compensation across open paddocks and broken country.
  • Pest controllers and spotlight shooters — utilises the light-gathering capability of the 50 mm objective lens to maintain a usable 12.5 mm exit pupil at low magnification for shooting foxes and vermin under low-light or artificial beam conditions.

Less suitable for: Target engagements beyond 600 metres where shooters require exposed tactical dialing turrets and first-focal-plane reticles, or ultralight backcountry hunting where a ~400–450 g optic is preferred over this 670 g riflescope.
