The ZeroTech Trace X 5-25x56 FFP RMG 3 MRAD Illuminated Riflescope is a precision long-range optic engineered around a 34 mm one-piece maintube and a 56 mm objective lens. Built with a first focal plane optical system, it provides 5–25x variable magnification with true reticle subtensions throughout the zoom range. The scope features an illuminated etched-glass RMG 3 mil-grid reticle powered by a CR2032 3V battery, 0.1 MRAD click adjustments, and a hard Zero Stop elevation turret offering 34 MRAD of total internal travel. Side parallax adjustment focuses down to 20 metres, while fully multi-coated lenses treated with WeatherShield hydrophobic coatings ensure light transmission and environmental protection in field conditions.

Key Features

• First Focal Plane RMG 3 Reticle: Etched-glass illuminated grid subtended in 0.2 MRAD increments with 0.1 MRAD measuring resolution and a floating center cross, maintaining true scale from 5x to 25x magnification.
• 34 MRAD Internal Elevation Travel: Housed in a robust 34 mm maintube to provide the extensive elevation adjustment required for targets past 1,000 metres.
• Precision Zero Stop Elevation Turret: Delivers tactile 0.1 MRAD clicks with an integrated return-to-zero mechanism for repeatable field adjustments.
• Side Parallax Adjustment: Smooth side focus dial that eliminates parallax error from 20 metres out to infinity.
• WeatherShield Lens Coatings: Proprietary hydrophobic and dirt-repellent outer coatings protect the 56 mm objective assembly in adverse weather.
• Rugged Chassis: Argon-purged and rated IPX7 waterproof, weighing approximately 883 grams.

Who is the ZeroTech Trace X 5-25x56 for?

• PRS and NRL Hunter match competitors — relies on the riflescope's 34 MRAD of internal elevation travel and 0.1 MRAD click adjustments with a hard Zero Stop to rapidly dial and return to zero across varied target distances.
• Extreme long-range centerfire precision shooters — utilizes the high-magnification 5-25x zoom range and 56 mm objective lens to maintain target identification and precise holdovers past 1,000 metres.
• Static long-range varmint and game hunters — benefits from this first focal plane riflescope's illuminated grid reticle and side parallax adjustment focusing down to 20 metres for stationary long-distance pest control.

Less suitable for: Close-quarters engagements inside 20 metres where the parallax cannot eliminate focus error (low-power variable optics or red dot sights suit better), or active backcountry hunting where carrying an optic weighing roughly 883 g is impractical compared to lightweight 1-inch or 30 mm hunting scopes under 600 g.
