The Hawke Flip-Up Cover Set – Vantage (20mm) is a protective optical accessory pack designed specifically for Hawke Vantage 1–4x20 riflescopes. The two-piece set includes dedicated covers for both the objective and ocular lenses, shielding the glass elements from abrasive dust, sand, rain, mud, and physical scratches during transit or field carry. Featuring a tool-free friction-fit design, each cover slips directly over the optic housing and allows for 360-degree rotation so shooters can position the hinged lids to flip open in any direction to accommodate firearm clearances. The spring-tensioned mechanism allows quick, one-handed opening with a finger or thumb for rapid target acquisition without disrupting shooting posture.

Key Features

• Full Optical Protection: Includes one 20 mm objective lens cap and one ocular cap to seal exposed glass against dust, moisture, and debris.
• One-Handed Snap Action: Spring-tensioned flip mechanism allows shooters to flick the covers open silently and rapidly using one finger or thumb.
• 360-Degree Indexable Fit: Slips securely over the scope bells without tools, allowing custom orientation so the lids can open vertically or sideways.
• Low-Profile Passive Design: Adds negligible weight to the rifle setup without altering the scope's optical profile, eye relief, or parallax characteristics.
• Recoil Resilient: Engineered to withstand mechanical recoil shock from standard centrefire, rimfire, and spring-piston airgun platforms.

Who is the Hawke Flip-Up Cover Set Vantage 20mm for?

• Australian bush stalkers and scrub hunters — Requires rapid sight picture alignment in heavy timber while keeping optics clean via a riflescope flip-up lens cover precision-moulded to fit a 20 mm objective lens and a 25.4 mm (1-inch) ocular housing.
• Vermin and pest controllers — Operates in dusty farm tracks and wet open paddocks where this riflescope flip-up lens cover seals fine grit away from the 20 mm objective glass and 25.4 mm ocular lens during vehicle or field carry.

Less suitable for: Riflescopes with larger 24 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, or 50 mm objective lenses, or optics with 30 mm to 34 mm ocular housings; these configurations require larger-diameter dedicated flip-up scope caps or threaded metal lens covers.
