Will the Kleenbore KB-CF chamber flag fit a .22 LR semi-automatic pistol?

No, the KB-CF is engineered specifically for 9mm to .45 calibre centre-fire semi-automatic pistols and is not suited for small-bore pistols below 9mm such as .22 LR, as the chamber stem will not seat correctly. For smaller calibres or different platforms, you should look for purpose-built alternatives like the Pachmayr Plastic Safety Snap Caps for .22 LR.

Are these chamber flags compliant with Australian range safety requirements for pistol clubs?

Yes, the Kleenbore KB-CF satisfies standard club and range safety requirements for SSAA, IPSC Australia, and state-sanctioned pistol clubs. They provide the necessary physical block and high-visibility safety orange confirmation required for cold range commands and transit between stages.

How do I install and position the Kleenbore KB-CF in a semi-automatic handgun?

To install the 4.30-inch nylon flag, simply lock your semi-automatic pistol slide to the rear, insert the flag shaft directly into the open chamber, and let the slide rest forward against the shaft. This physically prevents a cartridge from being chambered while the bright high-visibility flag projects clearly out through the ejection port.

Chamber Flag KB-CF - KleenBore KB-CF

The Kleenbore Chamber Flag For Semi Auto Handguns (KB-CF) is a physical and visual clear chamber indicator (CCI) designed specifically for centerfire semi-automatic pistols. Measuring 4.30 inches (~109 mm) in length, the flag shaft inserts directly into the chamber while allowing the slide to rest forward against it. This mechanically blocks live rounds from chambering and projects a high-visibility flag outward through the ejection port, providing immediate visual confirmation that the action is clear. Constructed from rugged injection-moulded nylon, this two-pack of chamber flags resists deforming under slide pressure and features an integrated loop hole for tethering to lanyards, keychains, or range bags.

Key Features

Mechanical Chamber Block: Seats into the firearm chamber to physically prevent accidental cartridge loading while the slide rests closed against the shaft.

Durable Injection-Moulded Nylon: Built to withstand standard slide closing pressure without snapping, bending, or damaging firearm internals.
Integrated Lanyard Hole: Includes a built-in eyelet for attachment to range bags, keyrings, or safety tags for rapid access between shooting stages.
Two-Pack Configuration: Supplied as a pack of 2 chamber flags for multi-handgun setups or field spares.
