How well do the Pro-Shot 12B-ORNG-5PK targets perform in damp outdoor conditions or morning dew across Australian ranges?

The Pro-Shot 12-inch Splatter Shot targets feature a heavy-duty adhesive backing specifically formulated to remain securely adhered in damp outdoor conditions, including morning dew and high humidity typical of Australian range sessions.

What is the recommended shooting distance for these 12-inch reactive targets, and do they work well for rifle zeroing?

These targets are optimised for handgun practice at 7 to 25 metres and rifle zeroing at 50 to 100 yards. They provide instant visual feedback through high-contrast flaking around bullet impacts, eliminating the need for a spotting scope at these ranges.

What calibres can safely be used on the Pro-Shot 12-inch Peel & Stick targets without destroying them instantly?

These targets accommodate a wide range of calibres from .22 rimfire up to large centrefire rifle calibres, as well as airguns and handguns. Each 5-pack also includes reactive repair cover-up pasters to patch previous bullet holes and extend the lifespan of each target.

Reactive Bullseye Target - Pro-Shot 12B-ORNG-5PK

The Proshot Splatter Shot 12" Orange Peel & Stick Bullseye Target 5 Pack provides immediate visual feedback on bullet impacts for handguns, rifles, and airguns. Featuring a high-contrast orange and black reactive coating, each shot breaks the top layer upon impact to produce a bright splatter halo around the hole. This eliminates the need for spotting scopes or frequent trips downrange during live-fire training. Engineered with a heavy peel-and-stick adhesive backing, these targets adhere firmly to cardboard backers, plywood, target stands, or shot-out targets even in damp morning range conditions.

Key Features

Reactive Splatter Technology: Bullet impacts break the high-visibility orange coating to create an immediate, high-contrast ring around the entry point for fast shot identification.
Heavy Peel & Stick Backing: Designed to mount securely to various target backers, boards, and stands without requiring staples or tape.
Repair Pasters Included: Each target includes reactive repair pasters to cover previous shot holes and extend target usability across multiple shooting strings.
Broad Calibre Compatibility: Reacts reliably to calibres ranging from .22 Rimfire and airguns up to large-calibre centerfire rifles and handguns.

Who is the Proshot Splatter Shot 12" Orange Peel & Stick Bullseye Target 5 Pack for?

Handgun practitioners — Training at standard pistol distances of 7 to 25 metres benefits from the 12-inch bullseye diameter, which delivers instant visual shot placement on paper without stepping forward from the firing line.
Rifle shooters zeroing firearms — Sighting in rifles at 50 to 100 yards requires clear bullet impact feedback, provided across a 5-pack of 12-inch reactive paper targets with included pasters to shoot multiple calibration groups.

Less suitable for: Long-range rifle shooting beyond 100 to 200 yards; shooters engaging targets at extended distances require larger 17.25-inch grid targets or dedicated long-range bullseyes with wider surface coverage.
