The Sightron S-TAC 1-4.5x24 SR1 Service Rifle Scope is purpose-built to comply with CMP Service Rifle and NRA High Power Rifle competition rules, which enforce a 4.5x maximum magnification limit. Engineered around a 30 mm one-piece aircraft aluminium main tube and a 24 mm objective lens, this optic features Sightron's patented ExacTrack erector system to maintain consistent internal component pressure and eliminate zero drift during adjustment. It is equipped with exposed tactical turrets offering 1/4 MOA click values and a mechanical zero stop, paired with a non-illuminated, second focal plane SR1 etched-wire reticle designed for rapid alignment on target bullseyes.

Key Features

• ExacTrack Erector Tube System: Sightron's erector assembly maintains constant mechanical pressure across the internal adjustment range to prevent point-of-impact shift.
• Tactical Zero-Stop Turrets: Exposed elevation and windage turrets feature tactile, audible 1/4 MOA click adjustments with 25 MOA per rotation and a built-in mechanical zero stop.
• MC-333 Lens Coatings: Multi-coated camera-grade glass elements provide high light transmission and flare suppression across varying outdoor light conditions.
• Competition SR1 Reticle: Second focal plane reticle design combines a 9 MOA outer circle, a 0.5 MOA central aiming dot, and 1 MOA stadia lines for precise bullseye centering.
• Ruggedised Housing: Nitrogen-purged and IPX7 waterproof-rated construction with a shock rating of 1,000 G against centrefire firearm recoil.
• Integrated Throw Lever: Includes a built-in, repositionable zoom ring throw lever for rapid magnification changes between 1x and 4.5x.

Who is the Sightron S-Tac Series 1-4.5x24mm 30mm Tube Second Focal Plane Sr1 Reticle ¼ Moa Clicks for?

• CMP and NRA Service Rifle competitors — Complies with formal match regulations capping optic power by delivering an exact 1-4.5x magnification range, paired with a 20.8 oz (590 g) build featuring an ExacTrack erector system to hold precise mechanical zero across standard 200, 300, and 600-yard course stages.
• Close-to-medium-range brush and scrub hunters — Maximises situational awareness and tracking of running game with a 110.0 ft field of view at 1x magnification, mounted securely via a robust 30 mm main tube diameter that tolerates rugged field handling.

Less suitable for: Extreme close-range target work at 10 to 50 yards due to fixed 150-yard parallax, where a scope with side-focus or an adjustable objective fits better; and long-range tactical precision at 800 to 1,000+ yards, which requires a higher-magnification optic of 15x to 24x+ with fine sub-tension holdover trees.
