The ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 G4 BDC Turret is a variable magnification hunting riflescope engineered for medium-range target acquisition and field pest control. Built on a 30 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium maintube, the optic combines fully multi-coated lenses with Weathershield external lens protection to ensure optical clarity across changing Australian field conditions. Elevation adjustments are managed via an exposed Bullet Drop Compensating (BDC) turret system calibrated in 0.25 MOA clicks, allowing shooters to dial directly for distance rather than relying on holdovers. Nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed, this non-illuminated second focal plane riflescope provides waterproof and fogproof performance across rimfire and centerfire platforms.

Key Features

• Variable 3–12x Magnification: Features a versatile 4x zoom ratio offering a wide field of view of 12.2 metres at 3x down to 3.0 metres at 12x magnification at 100 metres.
• Exposed BDC Turret System: Provides repeatable 0.25 MOA elevation clicks calibrated for rapid bullet drop compensation in the field.
• Close-Focus Parallax Adjustment: Side focus parallax mechanism adjusts continuously from 10 metres to infinity, eliminating reticle error at both rimfire and long-range centerfire distances.
• Robust 30 mm Maintube: Aircraft-grade aluminium housing accommodates a wide internal adjustment range and mounts securely with standard 30 mm rings.
• G4 Reticle: Clean second focal plane reticle design ensures unobstructed target viewing and consistent reticle dimensions across all zoom levels.

Who is the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 G4 BDC Turret for?

• Medium-range deer and feral pig hunters — delivers 3–12x variable zoom paired with an exposed 0.25 MOA BDC elevation turret to calculate precise trajectory drops on game out to 500 metres.
• Farmers and pest controllers — provides side focus parallax adjustment dialling down to a minimum of 10 metres, allowing this riflescope to focus sharply on close-quarter rimfire rabbit control as well as paddock-range centerfire pest harvesting.
• Recreational target shooters — offers an exposed BDC dialling mechanism and a 44 mm objective lens housed in a rigid 607 g, 30 mm maintube platform designed for repeatable tracking at the range.

Less suitable for: Long-range precision shooting beyond 500 to 600 metres, which is better served by high-magnification first focal plane optics featuring wide-adjustment Christmas-tree reticles; or ultralight mountain hunting setups where compact 1-inch scopes weighing under 400 g are preferred.
