What mounting rings do I need to attach the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 PHR 4 BDC Turret to my rifle?

This riflescope is built around a robust 30 mm main tube, so you will need to pair it with standard 30 mm mounting rings matched to your rifle's rail system. When selecting rings, ensure the 44 mm objective lens clears your barrel and handguard properly, keeping in mind the scope weighs approximately 606 grams.

How close can I focus the side parallax on the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 BDC Turret?

The integrated side parallax focus wheel adjusts smoothly all the way down from 10 metres out to infinity. This allows you to completely eliminate reticle parallax error whether you are engaging close-range rimfire targets or extending your shots out past 500 metres in the field.

Does this non-illuminated passive optic require Australian electrical compliance markings like the RCM or SAA approval?

No electrical compliance or regulatory approvals such as SAA or RCM apply to this product. Because the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 is a fully mechanical, non-illuminated passive optical instrument containing no internal electronics and requiring no mains power, electrical certifications and 240V compatibility are not applicable.

How does the ZeroTech Triple A warranty protect my investment when hunting in harsh Australian conditions?

The Thrive X 3-12x44 is covered locally by ZeroTech's Triple A lifetime unconditional replacement warranty, ensuring complete peace of mind in the rugged Australian bush and outback. The chassis is sealed against dust and moisture and features protective exterior Weathershield lens coatings designed specifically to shed dirt and heavy rain during demanding multi-day hunts.

BDC Riflescope - ZeroTech THXB3124P4

The ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 PHR 4 BDC Turret is a second focal plane hunting riflescope engineered for medium-to-long-range centrefire shooting. Built around a 30 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium main tube, this optic features a variable 3–12x magnification range paired with a 44 mm objective lens. Elevation adjustments are managed via an exposed BDC (Bullet Drop Compensating) target turret with 0.25 MOA click values, matching the holdover stadia of the glass-etched PHR 4 reticle. A side focus parallax dial corrects image and reticle alignment from 10 metres to infinity, supporting accurate shot placement across varying hunting distances.

Key Features

Exposed BDC Elevation Turret: Features resettable, exposed elevation dials with precise 0.25 MOA click values for rapid trajectory corrections in the field.
Second Focal Plane PHR 4 Reticle: Combines heavy outer posts with a fine floating centre aiming point and calibrated elevation holdover subtensions.
Fully Multi-Coated Optics: Anti-reflective lens coatings paired with proprietary Weathershield exterior protection shed moisture and dirt in field environments.
Side Parallax Adjustment: Focuses down to 10 metres and extends to infinity to eliminate reticle parallax error on rimfire and centrefire targets.
Robust One-Piece Chassis: The 30 mm tube weighs approximately 606 g and is rated to withstand recoil impulses from standard .223 Rem up to .300 Win Mag calibres.

Who is the ZeroTech Thrive X 3-12x44 PHR 4 BDC Turret for?

Australian deer and feral pest hunters — benefits from the 3–12x magnification range, 44 mm objective lens, and 606 g chassis that mounts cleanly to centrefire rifles for tracking feral pigs, goats, and deer across open country.
Field target shooters — relies on the 0.25 MOA click value exposed BDC target turret and 10-metre-to-infinity side parallax adjustment to dial precise elevation across shooting distances from 25 m to beyond 500 m.

Less suitable for: Close-quarters shooting under 15 to 20 metres where a 1–6x or 1–8x low-power variable optic (LPVO) offers a wider field of view; extreme long-range target shooting beyond 600 to 800 metres where a first focal plane optic with magnification exceeding 12x is required; or nocturnal pest management over dark fur where an illuminated reticle riflescope is necessary.
